Aiko was named the murderer but on the answer key it shows it is actually Eiji. 🙂 Love the games!
Fixed, thanks!
There appears to be at least one additional solution where C and V swap columns.
Thanks for bringing it up! I’ll have to change Baku’s text to prevent these two good solutions.
Hello. I recently discovered your puzzles and I really like them. They are very clever.
I am confused about this one. I got the following solution:
Axxxxxxxx
xxxxHxxxx
xxxxxxCxx
xDxxxxxxx
xxxExxxxx
xxxxxxxVx
xxxxxxxxB
xxGxxxxxx
xxxxxFxxx
I think it also works if I swap B and V. But I cannot see what rule I have broken. Can you help, please?
Hi Cerulean,
Good catch, you’re absolutely right. This position would also work, I’ll have to change Baku’s text to say ”there was another suspect beside a table” instead of ”another person”.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for bringing this up!

Hi Hiroji,
Thanks for the speedy reply. Yes, I think changing ‘person’ to ‘suspect’ will make the solution unique. That is an elegant fix.
